Mini-Steam Launcher by J0SH37 Mini-Steam Launcher by J0SH37
Shows either your recently played games or your most played games of the past 2 weeks.

READ: To link the launcher to your steam games your profile must be set to public. Then edit the skin and change the URL link from my Steam profile to yours. (This could be something like "/id/J0SH37" or "/profiles/76561198048912984")
You also need at least 10 games in your recently played list for it to work (or 5 or 3 depending on the variant you're using). Otherwise use the most played in past 2 weeks variant and it should fill the blanks with other games from your library.

Other skins: The volume bar is from Enigma . The background panel is also from Enigma. The mail icon is from this Gmail skin. And here is the clock . I don't know what the network graphs are from.

May not reply to comments often as DeviantART almost never loads for me.

UPDATE (13/08/14):
  • Changed 'Library' button to 'Steam' button. Left click opens library, right click opens Store, middle click opens downloads page.
  • Added 'Profile pic' button, opens your friends list.
  • Added multiple variants of 3, 5, and 10 game lists in case you want a smaller list than the original 10.

Old updates
UPDATE:
  • Added a 'Library' button. Idea from /u/dsamg

Is it possible to have it go horizontally instead of vertically ?

I am also having the same problem. It opens Steam just fine, but after turning all my profile settings to public, it still won't show anything in the skin. Would love to get this to work, as it has a nice minimalist look to it.

Do you have the minimum number of games on your recently played list? Check your profile and see if you have 10/5/3 games on your recently played list depending on which number of games you're using.

I found out what the problem was. It was the number code, and I was using "id" in the code as opposed to "profiles". Works amazingly, good functionality and usefulness. Keep up the good work man!

Did something happen with the newest steam updates? I haven't changed anything but after the latest update it won't load any of the games at all, have tried refreshing a few times with no success.

Hey, I LOVE this. Is it possible to make it larger?

As in, add more games?

Will there eventually be a setting to let you choose which games you want to show up, rather than strictly the ones you have played recently? That would be really nice.

Great work by the way, this is super helpful! :D

EDIT: I managed to get 1 game to appear and to run a specific ID each time (changing the LeftMouseUpAction) but I haven't figured out how to specify an image yet. Will probably do more on my own (I've also made right clicking the profile icon go to the friend activity and et cetera) so please take my request lightly. Thanks for providing a solid structured skin to work with!

A more efficient way to go about doing that would be to leave the LeftMouseUpAction as it was and change the [AppID#] from plugins to strings like this

[AppID1]
Measure=String
String=214490
StringIndex=1
StringIndex2=1
Debug=1

[AppID2]
Measure=String
String=203290
StringIndex=2
StringIndex2=1
Debug=1

That would allow you to have more than one game to work. You could download the banners for the games and link each banner up with each game. Or if you want, tomorrow I could rewrite it for you to automate the image grabbing process (like how it is currently, but for your preset AppID's)
